Tower Rock Lodge guides are highly experienced professionals when it comes to putting you into fish. Big rainbows are taken in the upper and lower Kenai River throughout the season but primetime is in the fall when hogs such as this one are gorging themselves on loose salmon spawn and salmon flesh from carcasses. An exceptional management program for trophy trout in the Kenai River has given this drainage a world-wide reputation for providing an exciting diversion for anglers who visit the Kenai Peninsula primarily for salmon. And it is this high quality fishery that encourages many of our guests to return year after year. The Kenai has produced fish larger than 20 pounds on many occasions and the upper river's Catch and Release regulations guarantee this stream will continue to provide world-class rainbow trout and Dolly Varden fishing for generations to come.

Testimonial - (not pictured angler) "This past June marked my fourth annual visit to the lodge, and I plan to continue my visits for years to come. My experiences to date have been nothing but completely professional. Through their actions, both Mike and Mark and their other guides have demonstrated their utmost regard for protecting the wildlife resources. In June of 1998 with the river under restrictions, all of the kings caught were treated with the greatest care to ensure they made it to their spawning grounds. The knowledge I have gained through the many hours of instruction Mike and Mark have imparted upon me has been most rewarding. Their understanding of the effects of water temperature, water clarity and river topography is amazing. I have always found their equipment to be top quality, and have never had any concerns regarding safety while on the river."
