For several decades the Kenai River has been known for its world-class king salmon fishing and with excellent management by the Department of Fish & Game, this remarkable river continues to produce trophies like this one year after year. But you really don't have to catch a 70 pounder to have a great fish for mounting on your wall. For most anglers who catch a Kenai King its the biggest fish of their lives and even a 40 or 50 pound fish will impress your friends and family members for as long as you are around to tell the story of that big one that DIDN'T get away.
There are several excellent taxidermists in our area who offer both fiberglass and natural skin mounts, depending on your preference. Once the fish is ready it can be shipped directly to your home.
Testimonial - (not pictured angler) "I was determined to find my perfect Alaska fishing trip. My first impression as I drove up to the lodge was 'This is a great looking lodge.' I was not disappointed. The furnishings are comfortable and clean and the lodge was secluded. This is what I had pictured as an Alaskan fishing lodge. When I was not fishing, I was able to walk down to the edge of the Kenai River and soak up the surroundings."
"The food was wonderful. Mark can cook with the best of them. I always looked forward to the meals to see what he had prepared. I was never disappointed. It was simply magnificent."
"I was impressed with the various methods of fishing that they employed. We drifted eggs, back-bounced eggs and back-trolled plugs. They did everything possible to put us on fish. Mike and Mark worked tirelessly for the guests and are a genuine asset to the Kenai River."
