By keeping only male salmon there is no impact on the number of eggs spawned and the amount of fry which will hatch next spring. There are always plenty of males available to court the females when they are ready to lay their eggs. Of course you have to have some exceptional fishing in order to pick and choose what you may want to keep....and this overnight flyout provides just that. The fishing for silver salmon and Dolly Varden char during the month of August is something you will remember for a very long time. The stream our overnight guests fish is small and clear, offering the angler the opportunity to see holes filled with coho and char.
