Of all the coastal sportfishing areas in Alaska, Cook Inlet holds the honors for providing the largest sport caught harvest of halibut every year. Our guests will fish from charters either out of Homer or the Deep Creek-Ninilchik area. Homer is a 90 minute drive from our lodge while Ninilchik is just less than an hour. It will depend on the clients' preferences, time of the season, weather and water conditions, and availability of salmon/halibut combo trips.

Judging by the profiles of this group of anglers they all know what good eating is instore for them when they get this quarter ton of fish home. Halibut range from 15 pounds to 400, with the average size fish running around 30+ pounds. The limit is two fish per person, and every day a few lucky anglers somewhere in the fleet will pick up a 100+ pounder to raise the adrenalin level of all onboard the boat.

Testimonial - (not pictured angler) "In a word, all of the individuals affiliated with Tower Rock Lodge are professionals who are ready and willing to share their vast experience and knowledge of a unique part of Alaska - providing what can only be termed a Sportfishing Experience of a Lifetime! I will never forget our experiences on the Kenai River and the nearby Russian River as well as Cook Inlet. The Kenai area is a rugged and most beautiful wilderness location. Tower Rock Lodge is a work of art - constructed of rough-hewn beams joined in harmonious simplicity to provide some of the most luxurious lodgings I've found. The food there is to die for, delicious! - Mark Tuhy is my favorite chef! Mike Tuhy is my favorite guide! Let them manage your next fishing trip - you won't be sorry!"

"I have fished 18 states, Canada, Mexico and Belize. And of them all my favorite fishing hole will always be the Kenai River and Tower Rock Lodge."
John Meyer, Chicago, IL.
