Probably one of the most "exotic" remote flyouts some of our guests have gone on is to fish the Chuitna River on the west side of Cook Inlet. The stream hosts a three week season in June for king salmon and due to its isolated terrain there is no access by floatplane in the upper reaches. So on this particular trip anglers fly across the Inlet in a floatplane, land on a lake and then hop aboard a helicopter to be transported to exclusive locations along the stream where your chances are best. For people who have never flown in a bush plane or helicopter, this trip can be a major highlight of your trip to Alaska. Contact us for further details since this is a very short season and there are other influences such as weather, limited seating, and pricing dependent on the number of anglers.
