The drive leaves Anchorage to the South, on the Seward Highway, along the Turnagain Arm.
- Potters Marsh Bird Sanctuary (Just as you leave Anchorage on Seward Highway)
- Look for Beluga Whales along the highway as they follow Salmon up the Arm.
- Look for Dall Sheep on the cliffs and mountain sides.

- Enjoy a beautiful drive along Cook Inlet. See volcanos, an old Russian Orthodox Church and Grave yard.
